Late night hosts Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers and Trevor Noah are joining the chorus of celebrities slamming Trump for his notion that he would've "run in (to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.) even if I didn't have a weapon."

"At this point, I go to bed every night believing there's nothing he could say or do that could possibly surprise me," Colbert told viewers. "Then, the sun comes up."

What was the funnyman's response to Trump's declared belief? Colbert gave an unconvinced "OK."

"There’s a lot in there that I doubt, but the part I really don’t believe is that he can run," Colbert said before bringing up Trump's deferments from Vietnam. "What are you going to do, run in there and stab them with your bone spurs?"

The host also advised Trump to spice up the "fantasy world" he's living in.

"Even if I had a gun, I would have dropped it just to show how tough I was," Colbert said adopting a Trump voice. "Then I would've run in and hit the shooter with my laser beam eyes, then use my mind like Neo in The Matrix and fly away to space Mar-a-Lago, Space-a-Lago."

There's really nothing worse than a fake tough guy," Meyers remarked during his "Closer Look" segment. "Trump lives in a fantasy world where he's some sort of action movie star who'd rush into danger and save the day.

"I'm sorry but you're not exactly Liam Neeson," Meyers continued as a Taken poster appeared over his shoulder. "If you'd been in the movie Taken, they would've had to change the name." To what exactly? Meyers believed My Daughter's Gone, Let's Move On would've been a more fitting title.

"All right, so you have her?" Meyers said, impersonating Trump on a call with kidnappers. "OK, thanks for the call."

Noah posited that Trump might, in fact, be able to stop a school shooting. "Imagine you’re a school shooter, and Donald Trump appears in the hallway," he said in the NSFW segment. "How distracting would that be?

“It would just be like, 'That’s right. It’s me, Donald Trump,' " Noah said doing an impersonation of the commander-in-chief. “I don’t have a gun, but what I do have is an amazing electoral college victory.”

Getting serious, Noah said, “It would be ridiculous coming from anyone, but especially from Trump. He’s gonna run in? Yo, when Trump ran for president, that was the first time he ran in his entire life.”

The host continued to express his doubt, posing a series of questions dripping with palpable disbelief. "Really, Trump cares so much about helping people that he'd jump into the middle of a school shooting with nothing but his fun-sized fists? Really, that guy?"
