f you’ve seen Pixar’s Coco, chances are the film’s signature song “Remember Me” left you in a puddle of your own tears multiple times over the course of the movie. At last night’s Academy Awards ceremony, Miguel, Natalia Lafourcade, and Gael García Bernal teamed up for a heart-melting live rendition of the song. Gael García Bernal, the voice behind Coco character Hector, opened the performance with an acoustic take on the track, which took home the prize for Best Original Song.

Then Miguel and Lafourcade, who recorded a delicate version of the track for the film’s end credits, took the stage for a bilingual rendition, with a stunning set design inspired by the film’s visual universe. A neon purple church illuminated the stage, and a dance troupe of ballet folklórico dancers and mariachis swayed along with Miguel and Natalia.
